SIZE 5 - Made with PMC3- Art Silver Clay- This Lily ring fired in a kiln at 1250 degrees in order to fuse the silver particles together before having to scrub off the sediment left from the clay. This turns to .999 pure silver (+ sterling silver wire). Lillies are my favorite flower, and I wanted to create an everlasting version of one.
Since it came from clay, there are a few dings and imperfections I decided to include to show the organic nature of the materials. This includes its dents, my fingerprints, and tool marks to really communicate the work going into each piece.
The name “Florence” is Latin, meaning Blossoming, Flourishing, & Prosperous
